Donna May Reese

Donna Reese, 64, of Benton Harbor, passed away at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph, MI, on Saturday, June 26, 2004. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 1:00 P.M., at the home of John and Nancy Reese, 6826 M-140, Watervliet, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Kerley & Starks-Menchinger Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Donna was born on April 7, 1940, in Ash Hill, Butler County, Missouri, to Arthur and Margaret (Rice) Sanders. She was a legal secretary, and worked many years for various judges and attorneys at the Berrien County Courthouse. Donna was also proud that she was Blossomtime Queen for both VM and Whirlpool in the late 1960?s. She loved her family, children & grandchildren, and she will be greatly missed. Her survivors include four children, Teresa (David) Gettig of Benton Harbor, Karen Reese of Watervliet, Richard Reese, Jr. of Benton Harbor, and Sean (Helen) Reese of Roeland Park, Kansas; eight grandchildren; a twin brother, Donald (Diane) Sanders of Texas; a ? sister, Florence McCollum of Illinois; and two aunts, Grace Sanders of Michigan, and Mollie Edmundson of Missouri; and her companion of many years, Robert L. James.
