John E. Sayles, 66, of Benton Harbor died November 17, 2004, at Orchard Grove Extended Care Centre.
A Celebration of Life Memorial service will take place 4:00 P.M., Monday, November 22, 2004, at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan. John was born on October 8, 1938 in St. Ignace, Michigan to George and Hortence (Cobe) Sayles. He served in the Armed Forces from1956 to 1959, and was later employed by General Motors.
John is survived by a brother Joseph Sayles of Portland, Mich., and a cousin ? Robert Cobe of Benton Harbor. He is preceded in death by his parents.
