Beverly ?Bev? Ann Nash, 50, of Benton Harbor, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2004 at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph following a short illness.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30 P.M. Monday, July 12, 2004 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Cleveland & Glendora Rds., Glendora, Michigan. Burial will follow at Ruggles Cemetery, Baroda. Friends may call from 2-6 P.M. Sunday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Beverly was born November 19, 1953 in Benton Harbor to Harold & Wilma (Backus) Freehling, Sr. On May 18, 1985, she married Grant Nash in Glendora. Beverly was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Joseph; a 1971 graduate of River Valley High School; a 2000 graduate of Indiana University; and was employed by Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. Beverly was devoted to her job & to her co-workers at the hospital. She loved to travel with her husband & son; and enjoyed spending time with her extended family. We will all dearly miss Bev?s sense of humor and positive outlook on life.
Beverly is survived by her husband Grant; her son Aaron; her parents Harold & Wilma Freehling, Sr. of Baroda; brothers Harold (Janet) Freehling, Jr. of Norwalk, OH; Melvin (Laura) Freehling & David (Linda) Freehling, both of Baroda; brother-in-law Greg (Connie) Nash; mother-in-law Claudine (George) Badiac; nephews Joel (Paula) Freehling, Brett Freehling, Patrick (Teri) Freehling, Timothy Freehling, Shawn Freehling, and Greg Nash; nieces Wendy Hoffman, Melissa Freehling, Rebecca (Jeffrey) Gowan, Heather Freehling, and Cory Nash; three great nieces Brooke Hoffman, Jade & Kayla Gowan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous dear friends. Beverly was preceded in death by a brother Marvin Freehling in 1949.
