Tom Lee Carlson, 63, of Stevensville, passed on Sunday, May 9, 2004 at Golden Age Manor in Stevensville. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00P.M., Wednesday, May 12, 2004, with Rev. Randy Doyle officiating at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial with Military Rites conducted by the American Legion Post #568, will be in Hickory Bluff Cemetery, Stevensville. Friends may call on the family from 6-8PM, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor?s choice. Those wising to share a memory or sign the guest book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com Tom was born on April 9, 1941 in St. Joseph, Michigan to Evar and Merrial (Bodjack) Carlson. He served his country in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion Post # 568 in Stevensville. He worked at Auto Specialties as a Foreman for10 years. Tom was an avid fisherman and enjoyed visiting friends and family. Tom is survived by his mother Merrial; a son Lance (Angela) Carlson of St. Joseph; grandchildren ? Kati, Cody, and Wyatt Burtchett, all of St. Joseph; and a sister ? Sandra Colby of West Bloomfield, Michigan.
