Henrietta's Obituary
Henrietta Podolak, 84, of St. Joseph, passed away Monday, June 07, 2004 at her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 211 Church St., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 5-7 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice at Home. Mrs. Podolak was born March 16, 1920 in St. Joseph to Frank & Meleda (Beck) Krigelski. She married Clem John Podolak in St. Joseph in 1938. Henrietta was a very religious lady. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and read her bible every day. Henrietta enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Podolak is survived by her son John (Linda) Podolak of St. Joseph; three grand daughters-Carol (Derrick) Serriane of San Antonio, TX; Melissa (Jimmy) Phelan of Durham, NC; Kathy Podolak of Chicago; and two great-grandchildren-Kylie Tyler and Seamus Phelan. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clem on March 1, 1985; two brothers-Adam & Henry Krigelski; and a sister Genevieve Mattner.
