Edward C. Karsen

Edward C. Karsen, 69, of St. Joseph, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at Lakeland Continuing Care Center, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with The Rev. Richard Koster officiating. Burial will follow at Crystal Springs Memorial Park, Benton Harbor. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice at Home or Riverview Park Christian Church. He was employed by Auto Specialties until his retirement. Edward is survived by his son-Edward C. (Bonnie) Karsen, Jr. of Fayetteville, PA; four grandchildren; his sister and her companion-Pat Karsen & Larry Lemke of St. Joseph; nephews & nieces-Herbert (Debbie) Kroening, Cindy Marske, Jeffery Kroening, Marc (Sandy) Kroening, Todd Kroening, Amy (Patrick) Batcheller, Kelly Loikits, & Teri (Mark) Carter. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister Donna Kroening in 2001.
