Jerry L. Palmer

Jerry Lee Palmer, 56 of Sodas, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2004 at his home in Sodas. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Monday at 1:00 P.M., May 10, 2004 at Kerley- Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. Edward Marks officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Bridgman. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Berrien County Cancer Service, or First Assembly of God Church. He married Carol Dlouhy on December 22 1979 in Stevensville, MI. He worked at Atlantic Automotive Components in Benton Harbor. Jerry enjoyed working in his yard and gardening; also traveling, camping, fishing and he was an avid animal lover. Survived by his wife Carol, his father Kenneth Palmer and a sister Nancy (Amis) Doolittle both of Moro, IL,; five grandchildren Tasha, Crystal, Michael, Jasmine, Sky, In-laws Jim & Betty Dlouhy of Stevensville, two sister-in-laws Barbara (Mike) Walsh, Diana (Dlouhy) Romeo both of Stevensville and numerous nieces and nephews.
