Freda's Obituary
Freda M. Mak, 82, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, March
19, 2004 at Orchard Grove Extended Care Centre in Benton
Harbor.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 A.M.
Monday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral
Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. James Whitman
officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 P.M. Sunday at the
funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American
Diabetes Association. Those wishing to share a memory or

Mrs. Mak was born January 18, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan to
Walter & Margaret (Buck) Robbins. She married Edward
Mak in 1950 in St. Joseph. He preceded her in death in 1982.
Mrs. Mak is survived by her children and their
spouses-Duane, Jerald (Irma), Judy, Brenda (Ronald); thirteen
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister
Catherine Clark of Alpena, Michigan. In addition to her
parents & her husband, she was preceded by a
daughter-Penny Napier.
