Robert R. Myers

Robert ?Bob? Myers, 62 of Baroda, went to his heavenly home Tuesday, February 3, 2004 from Lakeland Continuing Care Center in Berrien Center. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday at St. Paul?s Lutheran Church, 2673 John Beers Rd., Stevensville. Burial will follow at Ruggles Cemetery in Baroda. Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorials may be made to the Michigan Diabetes Association or the Michigan Kidney Foundation. Those wishing to share a memory or sign the guest book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Mr. Myers was born August 5, 1941 in Benton Harbor to Max & Anna (Klug) Myers. Bob attended St. Paul?s Lutheran School, and has attended St. Paul?s Lutheran Church all his life. He was employed at Paramont Die Casting in Stevensville for over 20 years before their closing. Bob was employed by LeRoy?s Trim Shop in Benton Harbor for several years until 1993 when he opened his own business-Myer?s Custom Canvas in Baroda. On October 20, 1979 he married Joyce Wohler in Stevensville. Bob was a member of the Michigan Small Business Association; and an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed hunting, boating, camping, fishing, & traveling. Bob is survived by his wife Joyce; his son Mike (Jackie) Myers of Bridgman; his daughter Kelly (Dan) Headle of Estero, FL; his step-daughter Sharon (Jim) Krejci of Stevensville; his step son Ric (Laura) Wohler of Baroda; three grandchildren-Ashley Sutcliffe, Jimmy Krejci, Allyson Krejci; three sisters-Frances (Don) Young of Watervliet, Delores (Don Sabadin) Brunke of Stevensville, Joanne (Larry) Reifschneider of Baroda, & his beloved buddy Jed. He was preceded in death by his parents-Max Myers, Anna Falak, & his step-father-Adolph ?Sonny? Falak.
