William's Obituary

Bill Gardner III, 42, of Benton Harbor died Tuesday, July 6, at St. Mary Hospital in Saginaw from injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident on the way to a cancer fund raiser ride. Friends may call from 6-8 PM Friday, July 9, at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday at Crystal Springs Church of God 1465 Pipestone St., Benton Harbor with Rev. Bradford Payne officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to Berrien County Cancer Service. Friends wishing to share a memory or sign the guest book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com Bill was born February 26, 1962 in Benton Harbor Michigan and his parents are William &Patricia (Books) Gardner Jr. He was an electrician working at Gardner Electric his family business. He married Kelly Smith on July 4, 2002 at Crystal Springs Church of God. Bill leaves to cherish his memory his wife Kelly Gardner, a son William Gardner, IV a grandson Jordon Witt, his parents William & Patricia Gardner, two sisters Cynthia (Larry) Kuball and Linda Phillips; many loved nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister Debra J. Eva in 1993.
