Darlene was born to Harry and Adeline (Nordhausen) Voudry
on December 10, 1925, in Elmhurst, IL. She moved to this
area when she married Willard Williams. Willard passed
away in 1965. She later married John Tragna, whom she
shared many wonderful times with. John passed away in
1991. She worked many years at V.M., until it?s closing.
Darlene then went to work & retired from Kaywood.
Anyone who knew Darlene knew she was an avid Cubs fan.
On any given day that the Cubs were playing Darlene would
be in her chair with her remote watching the Cubs. Mark
Grace was her hero and her heart was broken the day he was
traded. She lived for the day to come that the Cubs would win
the World Series. In her passing, the Cubs have lost one of
their greatest fans.
Darlene volunteered many hours of her time at the VFW
1137, where she leaves a number of friends. She loved and
enjoyed her home and the neighbors. They all became special
friends & shared their families with her. Darlene was a very
dedicated, private, brave, loyal lady. She was a devoted
mother, grandmother, & very devoted friend. She will be
missed by all.
She is survived by her son Robert (Diana) Williams, of
Benton Harbor; daughter-in-law Vicki (Ron) Williams, of
NC; granddaughters ? Michele Collins, of Benton Harbor,
Brandi (Sherafin) Perez of North Carolina, Michelle Perry,
Nebraska, grandsons ? Jeffery Williams, of Detroit, Michael
Collins, of Watervliet, and Manny Hernandez, of Nebraska;

Carolina, and Crystal and Courtney Collins, of Watervliet.
