Adeline Lockwitz 92, of St Joseph, passed away surrounded by her family Sunday October 12, 2003 at Lakeland Continuing Center- Joseph. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Jehovah?s Witnesses Hall, 1771 W. Glenlord, Stevensville, MI. burial to follow at North Shore Memory Garden. Friends may call from 6:00- 8:00 PM Tuesday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral 2650 Niles road St. Joseph. Those wishing to share a memory or sign the guest book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com Adeline was born on December 31, 1910 in Voline, Russia to Edward & Natalie (Lentz) Krieger. She came to America at the age of 2 ? on the boat with her family. She married Clarence Ted Lockwitz on November 26, 1938 in St. Joseph. She was baptized on July 23 1971 in the Jehovah Witnesses faith. She was an excellent cook and a seamstress for the Tapa Hut in Stevensville. She is survived by a son Ted (Midge) Lockwitz of St. Joseph, a daughter Jeneane Cleary of St. Joseph; 4 grandchildren Audra (Dave) Springsteen, Darrell (Liz) Albright, Susan (Todd) Rush, Scott Lockwitz; 13 great grandchildren; a sister Elsie Heppler of Bridgman. Preceded in death by her husband Clarence on February 6 1967, her parents, 4 brothers and 6 sisters and a son-in-law Michael Cleary
