Mary's Obituary
Mary G. Alexander, 93, of St. Joseph, passed away at Caretel
Inns of Royalton, Thursday, July 10, 2003. Visitation will be
from 10:00-11:00am, Monday, concluding with a brief
service at 11:00am, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral
Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with a committal service
following, at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma, MI. A
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2pm Monday, July
14, at Crownpointe, 4232 Red Arrow Hwy, Stevensville, with
Rev. Cecil Baldwin officiating Memorial donations may be
made to The Leukemia Association. Friends wishing to share

Mary was born on September 28, 1909 to Richard and Emma
(Gray) Grassman. She married Russell Kennard Alexander on
July 14, 1931 in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death in
1977. She had worked at Peoples Savings Bank for 25 years,
retiring in 1978.
Mary is survived by her son Rod ?Sandy? (Sherri) Alexander
of St. Joseph, daughters ? Mary Lou (Terry) Huet of Auburn,
WA, and Sally (Chuck) Ingle of Springfield, OH; nine
grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; and a brother,
Charles Grassman of Cleveland, OH. She was preceded in
death by her parents, a son-Ronald, one grandson, a
brother-Edward, and a sister-Elizabeth.
