Arlene M. Schroeder

Arlene M. Schroeder, 81, of Stevensville, died at her residence on Friday, June 20, 2003. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, June 23, 11:00AM, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. Charles Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Run Cemetery. Visitation is on Sunday from 2:00-5:00PM, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. In 1937 she married Robert Schroeder, he preceded her in death September 16, 1945. Mrs. Schroeder had worked in various schools in the Lakeshore School System, for 28 years, as chief cook. She loved to crochet and knit. She is survived by two sons, Robert (Faye) Schroeder of St. Joseph, and Don (Jenny) Schroeder of Eau Claire; five grandchildren, Terry, Kim, John, Jodie and Tammy; ten great-grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces; and many cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother-Kalvin Marbeiter, and a grand-daughter-Carrie ?Sis? Schroeder.
