Lucille Laura Marie Albright was born on April 28, 1916, in St. Joseph to Edward and Grace (Kerlikowske) Yeske. Lucille was the eldest of eight children and had to quit school in the eighth grade to take care of her sisters and brothers. On March 28, 1937, she married Albert P. Albright. Lucille had worked at Copper Wells, VM Corp. and as a waitress at the Vincent and Whitcomb Hotels.
Lucille was a life member of St. Peter’s Church, having been baptized, confirmed and married there. Lucille was a Sunday school teacher, sang in the choir and was an honorary member of The Women’s Fellowship.
Lucille was an excellent cook and seamstress, and her favorite past time was crocheting afghans. She made them for all her family, friends and even three doggy afgans for Sadie, Sissy and Pebbles. Lucille was a collector of teddy bears, which got its start two years ago at Lakeland Continuing Care, playing bingo. Her first prize was a teddy bear, and now the collection has grown to 85 bears.

Lucille, better known as “Nana” to all who knew and loved her, will be remembered always as a wonderful mother, a caring and excellent Nana, sister and Aunt. Her family was the love of her life. She fought a great fight and now is at peace with her Lord.
