Cecelia Louise Wesaw

Cecelia’s life began on January 2, 1941 in Fort Wayne, Indiana the daughter of Sylvester Sr. and Wanda (Aiken) Vanderbuttes. She had worked for Sunstrand Manufacturing in the shipping/receiving department for 28 years. Cecelia’s true passion was going golfing. She would golf 7 days a week. She also enjoyed bowling and fishing. Cecelia was a member of the Dowagiac Moose Lodge. Her loving family includes her children, Tina (Ervin) Starrett, April (Randy) Gibson, Leanord Morseau, Carey Morseau, Corey (Messina) Wade; son-in-law, Scott Shepard; grandchildren, Justin Morseau, Douglas Barger, Christina Barger, Whitney Patterson, Andrew Shepard, Megan Shepard; great grandchildren, Adrien Barger, Riley Barger, Tyler Gousetis; brothers and sisters, Helen (Phillip, Sr.) Hemminger, Rita Clark, Charolotte (Frank) Holstien, Rick (KayCee) Vanderbutts, Karen Holstine, Vicki (David) Menefee, Sylvester Vanderbutts and Kevin Vanderbutts.Cecelia passed away on July 30, 2012 at her grandson’s home in PawPaw. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Butts and sister, Jean Copeland. There will be a gathering of friends at Yazel & Clark Chapel on Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
