Anna Sacha

Anna Sacha, 85, of St. Joseph, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2003, at Lakeland Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00AM, on Saturday, September 20, 2003, with Rev. Gerald Schroer officiating, at St. Paul?s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2673 W. John Beers Rd., Stevensville, MI. Burial will follow at Lincoln Township Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Friday, from 5:00-8:00PM at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul?s Lutheran Church. On February 17, 1946, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she married Stepan Sacha. He preceded her in death in 1974. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and a member of the Czech Beseda Club. Survivors include a son, Stanley (Jana) Sacha of Alexandria, Virginia; two daughters, Mariann Anderson of St. Joseph, and Jean (Mark) Sullivan of Raleigh, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Michelle(Michael) Perschbacher, Amy (Shawn) Nelson, Sarah Anderson, Stephanie (Jason) Fertig, Stephen Sacha, and Brenden Sullivan; three great grandchildren, Karolina Perschbacher, Julia Perschbacher, and Ava Nelson. Mrs. Sacha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and a sister.
