Lee's Obituary
Lee’s life began on March 16, 1937, in Luber, Arkansas, the son of Benjamin Franklin & Faye (McDonald) Younger. He was united in marriage to Isabelle Rainey on March 17, 1973, in Dowagiac, Michigan. Lee was employed as a Purchasing Agent at AmeriWood for 36 years. He was a member of the Elks Club and Moose Club. Lee loved golfing, bowling, watching John Wayne movies and was an avid sports fan. His favorite team was Michigan State. His loving family includes daughters, Debra (Bill) Breeden of Jonesboro, AR, and Terri (Kevin) Strope of Fayetteville, AR; step-children, Ramona (Terry) Bryant of Stevensville, Ralph Orris of Niles and Roxanne (Herb) Fickett of Stevensville; grandchildren, Allison (Chad) Wheeler, Matt Breeden, Brad (Melissa) Kieffner, Levi Strope, Tracy Tennison, Jayson Simmons and Jeff (Melissa) Simmons, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson on the way; brother, Bryan (Ann) Younger of Berrien Springs; sister, Ina (Pat) Lee of Bangor and several nieces and nephews. Lee passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac. He is preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Faye Younger, a daughter Sandra Lee Younger and a brother Roger Alan Younger. Lee’s family will gather with friends on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel where his funeral service will also be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, led by Pastor John Kasper.
