Clifford ?Bud? Bailey, 78, of Sawyer, formally of Benton
Harbor, died Saturday February 1,2003 at his home.
Visitation will be held from 3:00- 5:00 & 7:00-9:00, Tuesday,
February 04, 2003 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral
Home, 2650 Niles Road St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life
Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 05, at
Lakeshore Christian Church, 5665 Washington Ave. St.
Joseph, with Pastor Jeffrey Oliver officiating. Burial follow
in Hickory Bluff Cemetery Memorials may be made to the
church or Sacred Ground Ministries, 2060 Peger Rd.,
Fairbanks AK. Friends wishing to condolence messages may

Bud was born on Oct. 8, 1923, to Isaac & Lillian (Pooch)
Bailey in Benton Harbor. He graduated from Benton Harbor
High School where he excelled in football and track. His
favorite activities included Golden Gloves boxing, baseball
and golf. He had been the owner and operator of the fishing
boat ?Estonia?, and enjoyed hunting, trapping and fishing. He
worked at Paramount Die Casting as a millwright until he
retired in 1984. He was also a loving father. One of his
proudest moments was accepting the Lord into his life this
last year.
He is survived by three daughters- Madeleine (Richard)
Harris of Hartford, MI, Lisa (Terry) Teeter of Mattawan, Mi,
Laura Petlick of St. Joseph, MI; two sons- Brett (Cynthia)
Bailey of Stevensville, Kenneth Bailey of Fairbanks AK,
seven grandchildren & one great grandchild; Two sisters-
Catherine Bridwell of Stevensville, MI, Lillian Weber of
Holiday FL.
