David Hanner

We are writing this in Celebration of the Life of David ?Lee? Hanner, Jr. Lee was born March 23, 1959. He passed from this life Friday, December 06, 2002 from heart failure. Lee is survived by his mother & father-Judi & Al Corzine of Benton Harbor; two daughters-Amanda Hanner of Hartford; Sarah Hanner of Kalamazoo; three grandchildren-Shyann, Austin, & Alex; four sisters-Robin Cobb of Doniphan, Missouri; Cindy Gales of Watervliet; Shelley (Roger) Mazigian of Benton Harbor; Jessica Hanner of Benton Harbor; a step-sister-Debbie (Kenny) Strain of Coloma; two step brothers-Mark (Karen) Corzine of Denver, CO; Chris (Kimmie) Corzine of Niles; and a special friend-Deana Statler of Coloma. Lee was loved by many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles & cousins and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his father-Dave Hanner in 1980, and his grandparents-Robert & Grace Hanner. Lee had a great love for his family & friends; and a passion for hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, camping and bowling, but his greatest achievement was his business-Art LeBeau?s Electric in Benton Harbor. Lee had also been employed by Hatfield Electric in Benton Harbor, and DMS Electric in Kalamazoo. Lee was a 1978 graduate of Coloma High School. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at Midway Baptist Church, 7517 Red Arrow Highway, Watervliet with Rev. Mark Cowell officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma. Friends may call Monday from 4-8 P.M. at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Crippled Children?s Hospital in honor of his granddaughter-Shyann Hanner.
