Scott Sempert

ST. JOSEPH ? Scott W. Sempert, 47, of St. Joseph died at home, Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003. Friends may call from 3-5pm and7-9 pm, Friday, January 31, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph. A celebration of life service will be held at 10am Saturday, February 1, at Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home, with Rev. Wade Panse officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Joseph High School Choir. Scott worked as a carpenter and loved the outdoors. He was a member of the Steelheaders, and the National Rifleman?s Association, as well as the Son?s of American Legion ? Berrien Springs. He was always there when a friend was in need. He is survived by his mother Noralene Sempert; sister Bekki (Steve) Lund of St. Joseph; and brother Doug Sempert; and nieces Sarah and Megan Lund. He was preceded in death by his father Warren ?Bud? Sempert, in February, 1992.
