John E. Hoge, 43, of Baroda, passed away Tuesday, August
13, 2002, at his home ending a long and courageous battle
with diabetes.
Friends may call on Friday, August 16, 2002 from 3:00 to
5:00PM and from 7:00 to 9:00PM, at Starks & Menchinger
Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. A
Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 17,
at 10:00a.m. at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Ruggles Cemetery. Memorials may be
made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) West
Michigan Chapter 4362 Cascade Road SE #109 Grand Rapids

John was born on April 10, 1959 to Raymond and Lela
(Stephens) Hoge in St. Joseph, MI. He graduated from
Lakeshore High School and Lake Michigan College. John
was a journeyman tool and die maker formerly employed with
Hanson Mold and American Tool & Die.
Johns Greatest loves in life were his nieces and nephews,
whom he cherished dearly; fishing, of which there was never
a day too hot, or cold, or windy, or rainy; and most recently
his beloved pup ?Bear.?
He leaves behind to cherish his memory is his father and
mother, Raymond and Lela Hoge of Baroda; 2 brothers
Robert (Kathy) Hoge of Baroda, and Richard (Julianne) Hoge
of Twin Lakes, MI; and a sister Susan Hoge (Dan Clark) of
Buchanan. Nieces & Nephews Robert (Barbi), Christopher,
Leah, Ian, Jason (Heather) Hoge and Jamie(J.R.) and Katelyn
Clark, 6great nieces and nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles
and cousins.
