Rene Mueller

Rene Mueller, 55, of Stevensville, went home to meet our Lord and Savior, at his home following a lengthy illness, on Tuesday, October 16, 2002. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, October 21, 2002, at 11:30 AM, at the Washington Avenue Church of God, St. Joseph. Burial will follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery, Stevensville. Friends may call at the Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, on Sunday, October 15, 2002, from 3:00 ? 5:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the Brazil Mission Work or to the support of Luz Gonzalus Mission Work, in care of the Washington Ave., Church of God. Those wishing to share a memory on line may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Rene was born in Londrina, Parana, Brazil on January 9, 1947, to Paul and Alvine (Schimming) Mueller. On December 29, 1973, in St. Joseph, MI, he married Karen Mueller. He was the owner/operator of Mueller?s Custom Cabinet Shop, Stevensville. Prior to his ownership of the shop, he learned his skill of cabinetry through his in-laws Helmut & Frieda Mueller. He truly was a hard worker and enjoyed his wood working. Rene was a member of the Washington Ave., Church of God, and a dedicated Christian. He was a loving husband and father. Mr. Mueller is survived by his wife, Karen; son-Steve Mueller, and daughters Susan (Dustin) White and Anita Mueller, all of Stevensville; brothers- Paulo (Leontina) Mueller of Curitiba, Parana, Brazil and Alfredo (Ursula) Mueller of Hamm, Germany; sisters- Waltraut Wallenhoffer of Londrina, Parana, Brazil, Hilda (Bernard) Radtke, of Brazil, and Elfrieda, of Brazil. He was preceded in death by his parents.
