David's Obituary
David W. Henderson, 36, died after an illness of several
months, at his residence Tuesday, October 29, 2002,
12:30pm, with his loving family surrounding him. A
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday,
November 2, 2002, at 10:00 AM, at Saron Evangelical
Lutheran Church, St. Joseph, with Rev. Dr. Gary Cowall
officiating. Burial will follow at Lincoln Township Cemetery,
Stevensville, MI. Friends may call on Friday, November 1,
2002, from 2:00 ? 4:00 PM and 6:00 ? 8:00 PM at Starks &
Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St.
Joseph. Memorial contributions may be made to the American
Cancer Society or to Hospice.
Mr. Henderson was born in St. Joseph on December 18, 1965
to Robert and Doris (Grandorf) Henderson. David was
employed as a truck driver and as a brick mason.
David is survived by his mother Doris (Pat Sutton)
Henderson; his loving Fiancee, Janet Sweet; three brothers,
Robert (Nanette) Henderson of Stevensville, Douglas (Mary
Beth) Wendt of Cape Coral, FL, and Darrell (Diana)
Henderson of McClenney, FL; three sisters, Donna Woody of
Green Acres, FL, Linda (Brent) Henderson-Dipert of
Stevensville, and Carol (Perry) McCalla of Coloma; many
nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog and companion Blu.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Henderson on
Feb. 22, 1967.
