Vince McKinney, 55, of St. Joseph, MI, died Sunday, September 1, 2002. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2002, 10:00 AM, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at Spring Run Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, September 4, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice At Home, Stevensville. He truly loved and enjoyed life, especially starlite nights, Bacino?s Pizza, morning coffee and the newspaper. Mr. McKinney is survived by his life partner Gerrt Nemethy; a brother Vaughn McKinney of Benton Harbor;nephews, Blake McKinney, Joey, Stephen & Jon-Jon Frye, and Alex Nemethy; his sister-in-law, Jan Avery; special friends, Becky Black, Darlene Unger and Martin Karr and Brenda Cook; and his dog, Bandit. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine (Schuck) McKinney.
