Virginia ?Virgiee? Beselt, 77, of St. Joseph, went to be with her Lord & Savior and join her departed family members in heaven on Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at Caretel Inns of Royalton. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday at Crystal Springs Church of God, 1465 Pipestone Ave., Benton Harbor. Burial will follow at Crystal Springs Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Virgiee was born on September 4, 1925 in Youngstown, OH to Anthony & Mary (Brunetti) Vaccaro. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1943. On June 22, 1947 she married Edmund Beselt in Benton Harbor. She was employed by Heath-Zenith in St. Joseph retiring in 1980 after 25 years of employment. Virgiee was a member of the Crystal Springs Church of God, Stevensville American Legion #568 Auxiliary, FOP Lodge #96, Benton Harbor Elks #544 and VFW Post #1137 Auxiliary of Benton Harbor. She loved gardening, sewing, and animals-especially her two special four legged companions-Angel & Puff. Mrs. Beselt is survived by two nephews-Larry (Kay) Miller of Benton Harbor; Jay (Jeannie) Miller of Oceanside, CA; two nieces-Bonnie (David) Fizzell of Eau Claire, and Sandy Starbuck of St. Joseph. She was preceded in death by her husband Edmund on October 14, 1987; her parents, and two sisters-Carmela Abbott in 1949 and Imy Miller in 1990.
