Shantaben's Obituary
Shantaben J. Patel, 78, of Stevensville, passed away on
Tuesday, July 23, 2002 at her home. Services will be held at
1:00 P.M. Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral
Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Visitation will be at the
funeral home from 12:00-1:00 P.M. on Thursday. Cremation
will follow the services at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in
Niles. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice at Home.

Mrs. Patel was born on May 15, 1924 in Malav, Gujarat, India
to Ambalal & Tejaben Patel. On May 15, 1938 she married
Jivabhai Patel in India. She moved to the United States with
her family in 1984.
Mrs. Patel is survived by her husband Jivabhai; two
sons-Rajendra (Kundan) Patel of Stevensville; Niranjan
(Sushma) Patel of Normal, IL; four daughters-Premila
(Arvindbhai) Patel of Stevensville; Manjula (Hashmukh)
Patel of Stevensville; Urmila (Jayanti) Patel of St. Joseph;
Raksha Patel of Stevensville; twelve grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren and one brother-Manubhai (Manjula)
Patel of India.
