Betty A. Weatherly

Betty Weatherly, 59 of Stevensville went to be with her lord on Wednesday December 18, 2002 at her home surround by her loving family. Visitation will be on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Lincoln Township Cemetery. Memorial may be made ALS Foundations. On April 2, 1961 she married James W. Weatherly in Benton Harbor. She worked at Lakeland Specialty Hospital ? Berrien Center as a social worker tech. Some of her fondest times was Camping, cooking and taking care of her family. A proud moment for her was when she was baptized in the hospital and accepted the lord in her life. Survived by her husband James of Stevensville, three daughters- Rhonda (Jeff) Young of Watervliet, Kimberley (Jeff) Dilts of Benton Harbor, Brenda Weatherly of Chicago, Three brothers- Jack (Joan) Ballard of Benton Harbor, Clarence (Barbara) Ballard of Benton Harbor, Larry (Linda) Ballard of Benton Harbor, MI; her mother Thelma Ballard of St. Joseph, and by many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by her father Clarence, brother William Ballard, Sister Peggy LaMott.
