Mary's Obituary
Mary L. Tripi, 91, formally of Benton Harbor, peacefully passed away at Jordan Nursing Home
Wednesday March 6, 2002.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Friday at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Father
Larry Kroll will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 ? 8:00 PM and pray service will at
6:00 Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph. Burial
will be at Calvary Cemetery following the services. Memorials may be made to Lake Michigan
Catholic School.
Mary was born march 1,1909 in Chicago, IL the daughter of John & Virginia (Damico) Tripi and
moved with the family to Michigan as a teenager. Later she worked in the Family?s business. Mary
was a devoted daughter caring for he aging parents. She was a member of St. John?s and St Bernard
Parish, belonged to the Alter Society for many years and cared for the alter at St.John?s Catholic
Church.
Survivors include her sister Josephine Damico of Benton Harbor and several nieces and nephews.
