Frank J. Lambrecht

Frank J. Lambrecht, 93, of St. Joseph, went to meet his Lord & Savior on Saturday, June 1, 2002 at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Joseph, with Rev. Jon Bendewald officiating. Burial will follow in North Shore Memory Gardens. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorials may be made to The Lutheran Hour or Trinity Lutheran Church. Friends wishing to share a memory on line may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com Mr. Lambrecht was born on March 31, 1909 in St. Joseph to John & Albertine (Neuman) Lambrecht. On September 24, 1933 he married the former Ruth Knuth in St. Joseph. He was employed at Cooper Wells as a bookkeeper before leaving to join the St. Joseph Post Office from which he retired in 1974 after 32 years as a mail carrier. Frank was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Joseph. Frank is survived by three sons ? Kenneth Lambrecht of Coloma, James (Judith) Lambrecht and Craig (Diane) Lambrecht both of Benton Harbor; one daughter ? Janet Lambrecht of St. Joseph; eight grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth in February of 1984, his parents, and eight sisters.
