Margie M. Piraino, 86, of St. Joseph, went home to meet her Lord and Savior after 3 years of deteriorating health, on Sunday, November 3, 2002, at South Haven Health Care Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2002, 11:30AM, at St. John Catholic Church, Benton Harbor, with Father Larry Kroll officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Friends may call at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, on Monday, from 5:00-8:00PM. Memorials may be made to St. John/St. Bernard?s Catholic Church. Friends wishing to sign the guestbook on line may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com Mrs. Piraino was born in Benton Harbor on April 4, 1916 to Henry and Elizabeth (Buck) Hennes. She graduated from St. John?s in 1933. On October 11, 1941, she married Jack M. Piraino. They were married for 37 years. Her husband preceded her in death on February 3, 1978. Mrs. Piraino had been a beautician in the Benton Harbor area for over 40 years. She was a member of St. John Church, and had also served on the Altar Society. She will be greatly missed by many friends and her family. Margie is survived by her son Michael (Kathy) Piraino of Coloma; her daughter Florence Kaehn of Chicago; 11 grandchildren, Steve and Jeff Piraino, Kathy, Ron and Kelly Kaehn, Sheri, Tracy and Theresa Piraino, Michael C. Piraino, and Thad and Amy Blythe. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Jackie Piraino, brother Bud Hennes, and sisters Helen Ann Wright and Florence Heyn.
