Sue's Obituary
Sue E. Mohn, 90, of St. Joseph, died Monday, April 29, 2002
at South Haven Health Care Centre, South Haven. A
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M.
Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home,
2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. Jon Bendewald
officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory
Gardens. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the
funeral home. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran
Church, St. Joseph. Friends wishing to share a memory on

Mrs. Mohn was born on August 4, 1911 in Bayport,
Minnesota to Theodore & Hazel (Horner) Rickers. On March
9, 1932 she married Lewis ?Red? Mohn in St. Joseph. She
was employed for many years at Rimes in the Hosiery
Department. Sue was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church
in St. Joseph.
Mrs. Mohn is survived by her daughter-Jacki (LeRoy) Powers
of Benton Harbor; two sons-James (Peggy) Mohn and Ted
(Mary) Mohn, both of Coloma, eleven grandchildren; ten
great-grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; a
sister-Pat Slaney of Yorktown, Virginia; and a
sister-in-law-Donna Rickers. She was preceded in death by
her husband Lewis ?Red? Mohn on February 8, 1994; two
sisters-Gladys Roloff and Bess Strickers; and two
brothers-Ted Rickers and Dick Rickers.
