Gladys's Obituary
Gladys Taube, 92, of Coloma died Friday March 29, 2002, at
Watervliet Community Hospital.
Visitation will be from 5:00 ? 7:00 PM, Sunday at Starks &
Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, St.
Joseph. A Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:30
PM Monday at the Funeral Home, with burial at Riverview
Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Peter?s United
Church of Christ where she was a member.
Gladys was born on June 6, 1909, to Robert & Emma
(Rutkowske) Dunse in St. Joseph. She was a graduate of
Coloma High School and Western Michigan University. After
graduating she taught school in the Coloma areas for 42 years
and also farmed with her husband Arthur. She was a member
of Michigan Retired teacher Association.
Survivors include a sister Grace Kerlikowske of St. Joseph, a
brother Robert Dunse of South Haven, a nephew Edwin A.
(Mary Ellen) Kerlikowke of Berrien Springs, a niece Jean
Ann (Marven) Waldenmaier of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and
great nieces and nephews.
Her parents and her husband preceded her in death.
