Jolyne's Obituary
Jolyne C. Sample, 67, of St. Joseph, died Wednesday,
December 26, 2001 at Fountain View Retirement Village of
Buchanan. Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 AM
Saturday at St. Paul?s Episcopal Church, St. Joseph. Burial
will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call on
Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be
made to St. Paul?s Episcopal Church or Hospice at Home.
Mrs. Sample was born on June 22, 1934 in Los Angeles, CA
to George & Joanna (Sullivan) Cornes. On January 19, 1963
she married Sewell V. Sample in Phoenix, AZ. In addition to
her husband she is survived by two sons-George Matthew
Stanton; John Sewell (Laura Jackson) Sample of Holland, MI;
two daughters-Joanna Kathern (Thomas) Lankford of Crown
Point, IN, and Elizabeth Rachel (Michael) Swanson of
Zeeland, MI; and six grandchildren including Ryan & Ashley
May Madajczyk of Crown Point, IN. She was preceded in
death by her parents and two sons-Mark Fillmore Stanton &
Paul William Stanton.
