Sharon Kay Malsch

Sharon’s life began on April 10, 1945 in Berrien Township, the daughter of Eugene and Edla (Johnson) Jones. She was employed by Contech in Dowagiac for over 35 years. Sharon was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved to travel and would visit overseas wherever her son was serving while he was in the Navy. Sharon’s family includes her sons Allen Malsch of Lawton, and Phillip (Gina) Malsch of Bahama, NC, grandchildren Johnna Malsch, Hunter Malsch, Hailey Malsch, and Audrey Cowan, great grandchild Tyler Malsch, sister Connie Sherburn of Henderson, NV, niece Tina McKittrick of Henderson, NV and great niece Hannah McKittrick. Sharon passed away on Tuesday May 22, 2012 at Kairos Dwelling in Kalamazoo. She is preceded in death by a grandson Alex Malsch. Her family will gather with friends on Thursday from 5-8 pm at Yazel & Clark Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 1 pm at South Union Cemetery in Berrien Center led by Pastor John Kasper. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to Kairos Dwelling.
