Marjorie M Mosher

Marjorie’s life began on July 1, 1916 in Pinkney, MI, the daughter of Reverend Thomas H. and Margaret M. (Conway) Jones. She was united in marriage to Herbert L. Mosher on September 26, 1936 in Dowagiac, MI. Marjorie was employed by the James Heddon Company for several years and worked many years for Hales Hardware in the paint department. She was a parishioner at Holy Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, the Cass County AARP Chapter #444, and the Old Friends Club. Marjorie enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, reading and knitting. Her loving family includes her children Sharon (Ron) Walz of North Wilkesboro, NC and Leslyn (Scott) Rose of Dowagiac, daughter in law Phyllis Mosher of Cassopolis, grandchildren Justin (Elizabeth) Rose, Kristin (Joseph) Diekevers, Joel (Teresa O’Brien) Walz, Jennifer (Scott) Rieth, Charles (Nicole DuVall) Mosher, Jr, and Kathy (Peter) Sheteron; great grandchildren Jenna and Jessica Walz, Keegan and Kaiden Rieth, Charles Mosher III, Archer Sheteron, and Thomas Diekevers. Marjorie passed away at the Cass County Medical Care Facility on Sunday May 20, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband Herbert, son Charles “TuckY” Mosher, and sisters Gwen Frontczak and Freda Jones. Her family will gather with friends on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel where her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. led by Pastor Heather McDougall. She will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the Cass County Medical Care Facility.
