Benton Harbor ? Barbara Evelyn (Coulombe) Spicher, 65, of Benton Harbor, passed away Monday, July 1, 2002, at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, July 8, at 1:00pm, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. Thomas Norvell officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma. Friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00pm, Sunday, July 7, at Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association Barbara was born in Long Beach, CA on December 6, 1936, to Alfred and Viola (Gripp) Coulombe. She is survived by a daughter, Susan (David) Muffley of Russiaville, IN, and a son, Steven Hinrichs of Crestview, FL; a step-daughter-Karen (Duane) Silvers of Liberty, Missouri; three grandchildren, Eric Muffley, Brent and Amber Hinrichs; 2 great grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Canfield of Roswell, New Mexico; and a brother, Edward Coulombe of South Haven, MI. Mrs. Spicher was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Hinrichs; her second husband, Gerald ?Max? Spicher, Sr.; a son, Gerald M. Spicher, Jr.; and two brothers, Dean Gray and Raymond Coulombe, Sr.
