Audrey's Obituary

Audrey Myotte, 73, of Watervliet, died Saturday, February 23, 2002 at Community Hospital-Watervliet. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow in Spring Run Cemetery, Scottdale. Friends may call from 6-9 PM Monday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association. Mrs. Myotte was born on August 1, 1928 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to Fernley & Mary (Grant) Killips. On August 28, 1948 she married Peter Myotte in Sault Ste. Marie. She was a member of Moose Lodge #1886 and the American Legion both in Munising, MI. Audrey was an avid quilter, nature lover and cook, and a proud Detroit Red Wings Fan. Mrs. Myotte is survived by five daughters-Brenda Murphy of Watervliet, Judith (Bill) Hankins of Coloma, Phyllis (Jack) O?Toole of St. Joseph, Mary (Jim) Parce of Watervliet, and Karen Hosbein of Watervliet; a son Stephen (Toni) Myotte of Watervliet; 14 Grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; three brothers-Robert Killips of Christmas, MI, Jerry (Sandie) Killips of Sault Ste, Marie, Richard (Wilma) Killips of Stevensville; two sisters-Sandra (Ned) Jacobs of Watervliet, and Barbara (Kenneth) Jefferson of Dudley, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter and two grandsons-Chris & Kevin Hankins all in 1982, her parents and two brothers-Lyle & Benjamin Killips.
