Dolores (Hall) Korrell, 81, of Benton Harbor, died Tuesday January 1, 2002 at Orchard Grove Extended Care Facility. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Saturday, at St. Bernard?s Catholic Church. Visitation is from 4-8pm Friday, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Rosary will be said at 7:30pm Friday night. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL. Memorials may be made to Queen of Peace Retirement Home, 24955 North Hwy 12, Lake Zurich, IL 60047-8919 or St. John & St. Bernard Catholic Church, Benton Harbor, MI, or Alzheimer?s Foundation. Dolores was born July 30, 1920 in Oak Park, IL to Emma (Hanus) and Stanley Hall, both deceased. She married Melvin Korrell on July 4, 1945. She resided in this area most of her life. Dolores is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Melvin H. Korrell of Benton Harbor, MI, and three daughters, Linda Korrell, St. Joseph, MI; Patricia (Richard) Gedert, New Buffalo, MI; and Debra (Steven) Snowden, Kenton, OH. She is also survived by grandchildren, Kimberly and Shawn Gedert, Catharine, Bonnie and Robert Snowden, who were the joys of her life. She is also survived by two sisters; Virginia Hall, Maywood, IL; Audrey Hall, Lake Zurich, IL, brother Leonard (Geraldine) Hall, Edina, MN; and sister-in-law Virginia Hall, Carlsbad, CA, plus nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her son, James Korrell, brother Robert Hall, and sister Helen Hall. Her greatest reward in life was her family. All who knew and loved her will sadly miss her.
