Lydia's Obituary
Lydia McPherson, 92, of St. Joseph, went home to be with the
Lord, Friday, December 21, 2001 at Lakeland Hospital-St.
Joseph. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday
at First United Methodist Church, St. Joseph. Burial will
follow in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7
PM Sunday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home,
2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorials may be made to the
First United Methodist Church of which she was a member.
Lydia was born on July 15, 1909 in Benten Center to Jacob &
Amelia (Mueller) Bogart. She was a Register Nurse and
work as office manager for City Plumbing until she retired in
1976.
Surviving is her husband Zachariah McPherson of St. Joseph,
one daughter Alice Henry of Roanake VA.; two step
?daughters Karen( Dale) Freehling of Bridgman; Lois (Ed)
Zender of Johnsontown CO.; six grandchildren, four great
grandchildren
Preceded in death by a grandson James Henry in 1992
