Pauline's Obituary

Pauline Wagner, 90, of St. Joseph, entered the arms of our Lord on Monday, March 25, 2002 at Golden Place, St. Joseph. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 30, at St. Matthew?s Lutheran Church, Colfax and Kline, Benton Harbor. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00am until the time of service at St. Matthew?s. Burial will be held in North Shore Memorial Gardens in Hagar Shore. Memorials may be made to St. Matthew?s Lutheran Church. Mrs. Wagner was born May 23, 1911 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada to John & Bertha Modro. After settling in Bridgman, she married Emil Wagner. She was a seamstress and an excellent homemaker. She was a member of St. Matthew?s Lutheran Church. Survivors include her one son Walter W. (Linda) Wagner of Niles, MI, three daughters ? Elizabeth J. Wagner, Donna J. (Raymond) Radde, and Helen A. (Wilbur) Schillinger, all of St. Joseph. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Lorry J. Wagner of Brighton, MI, Christopher M. (Deborah) Wagner of Niles, MI, Angela J. Wagner of Coral Gables, FL, Scott A Radde of Ann Arbor, MI, Todd D. Radde of New York, NY, and Jennifer J. (Ryan) Devereaux of Villa Rica, GA. She was also blessed with two adorable great-grandchildren, Olivia and Ian Wagner of Niles, MI. Also surviving is her sister Alvina Peters of Coloma, and sister in law Alvina Kelm of St. Joseph. Mrs. Wagner was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Emil in 1962, her daughter Lorraine Wagner Macaris in 1977, and four brothers and two sisters. Pauline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be greatly missed.
