Ronnie’s life began on August 22, 1960 in Hammond, IN, the son Ronald E. Richardson and Jackie Richardson-Toweson. He was a graduate of Gavit High School in Hammond. Ronnie was a medalist in Special Olympics, and attended the Share Foundation Camp in Rolling Prairie. He was known to many as “Rockin Ronnie”. He loved his music and his earphones and loved to bowl. Ronnie was a Chicago Bulls, St. Louis Cardinal and Chicago Cubs fan. His loving family includes his mother Jackie Toweson of Sister Lakes, siblings Jill ( Greg Serbon) Richardson-Bush of Crown Point, IN, Patrick (Cindy) Richardson of Lake Village, IN, Terry (Kelleen) Richardson of Lowell, IN, Tiffany (Chris) Govert of Gold Canyon, AZ, and Troy (Jeannie) Toweson of Schererville, IN, nieces and nephews Christopher Bush, Corey Bush, Thomas, Amber, Hannah, Sarah, and Adam Richardson, step-father Robert Toweson, and several very special aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Ronnie passed away on Wednesday March 14, 2012 at his home. He is preceded in death by his father. His family will gather with friends on Saturday from 5-8 p.m. EST at Yazel & Clark Chapel (405 Center St. Dowagiac, MI) where a scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m. led by Deacon Frank Wesolowski. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. CST at Kuiper Funeral Home (9039 Kleinman Rd. Highland, IN) and committal services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Schererville led by Father Dennis J. Blaney. Memorial contributions in Ronnie’s name may be directed to the family in care of Jackie Toweson or the Share Foundation.
