Janice L. Sobieski

Janice’s life began on July 9, 1955 in Dowagiac, the daughter of Clifford and Mary (Burroughs) Benson. She was a graduate of Hartford High School. She had been employed as a quality control inspector for ICG in Dowagiac for several years. Janice enjoyed spending time with her family. Her loving family includes her husband Tom of Cassopolis, children Lynndsey Felton of Niles, Jennifer (Joshua) Bryan of Sister Lakes, and Edward Sobieski of Niles, grandchildren Naomi Mead, Rochelle, Alexis and Aiden Bryan, sisters Bonnie (Dennis) Kublick of Berrien Center, Marcia (Bruce) Nevins of Dowagiac, Nancy (Ron) Wagner of St. Joseph, Kathy (Steve) Bunn of Eau Claire, and brother Mike (Shirley) Benson of Dowagiac. Janice passed away at her home on Saturday February 18, 2012. She is preceded in death by her brother Vance Benson. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10a.m.-12 p.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel where her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 12 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Union Cemetery, Berrien Center.
