Robin Ann Rickard

Robin’s life began on November 20, 1957 in Modesto, CA, the daughter of Robert Daniels and Abby Epperson Roacha and step father Tony Roacha. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and Eagles Lodge in Taylor, MI. Robin loved animals, especially her dogs and horses. She was an artist and if there was something she could do, she would do it. Her loving family includes her children Shauntae (Jay Warner) Moore of Cassopolis, and Robert Dean ( Lynn Kelley) Thomas of Horton, AL, her fiancé Bernie “Sonny” Takklinen of Vandalia, her grandchildren Derek Michael Moore, Zachary Allen Moore and Robert Isaiah Thomas, her father Robert Daniels of Taylor, MI, sisters Amy Nix of CA, Joanna(Todd) Hawkins of Marcellus, Tammy (Mark) Adcock of CA, brothers Steve (Sherry) Roacha of CA, Kenny Roacha of TX, and Danny Roacha of CA. Robin passed away on Friday November 4, 2011 at University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. She is preceded in death by her mother and step father, and a brother Tony Roacha. Her family will gather with friends on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Yazel and Clark Chapel where a prayer will be said at 7:30p.m. by Pastor Mike Shinabery of Volinia Baptist Church.
