Carl Vylonis

Carl's Obituary

Carl’s life began on January 24, 1920 in Adamson, Oklahoma, the son of Anthony and Agnes (Brazdaitis) Vylonis. Carl served his country in the United States Army during World War II in Europe and the Middle East. He was a plumbing and heating contractor in Dowagiac for many years. Carl was united in marriage to Margaret Vylonis who preceded him in death in 1989. He was a life member of the Cass County Post VFW #1855, American Legion Post #563, Loyal Order of the Moose and the Elks Club, both in Dowagiac. He is survived by a daughter Lee (Raymond) Brooks of Niles, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Carl passed away on October 7, 2011 at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, FL. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by two sons Carl Vylonis, Jr and Terry Vylonis and a brother Johnnie Vylonis. Private graveside services will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
