Jane Buettner

Jane's life began on June 15, 1924 in Chicago, the daughter of John W. and Hildur (Bjork) Anderson. She was united in marriage to Helge Johnson in the late 40's and he preceded her in death in 1967. Jane later married Frank Buettner on September 16, 1990 and he preceded her in death in 2002. Jane ran her families restaurant on the Chicago south side for many years before retiring to Sister Lakes. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #263 and Silver Creek United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son Glen Johnson of Sister Lakes. Friends and family will gather on Monday from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel where her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. led by Pastor Julie Greyerbiehl of the Silver Creek United Methodist Church. She will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the donor's choice of charity.
