John Douglas Juroff

John's life began on January 16, 1938 in Dowagiac, the son of John and Mary (Parmeter) Juroff. He is a graduate of Dowagiac Central High School. John served his country in the United States Navy. John was employed by National Cooper Products in Dowagiac for 38 years before retiring. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He was involved in Ducks Unlimited and participated in goose banding. His loving family includes his mother Mary Juroff of Dowagiac, his children Joan (Stan Maggert) Leason of Dowagiac, Steven B. Juroff of Dowagiac, Sandra Ann (Erica Euffa) Juroff of Henderson, NV, and John A. (Amy) Juroff of Cassopolis, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, sisters Dorothy (Don) Morse of Keeler and Connie (Paul) Goodyke of Bakersfield, CA and a brother William (Beverly) Juroff of Georgia. John passed away on Thursday August 5, 2010 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph. He is preceded in death by his father John, and son John Christopher Juroff. Graveside services will be held for John at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 10, 2010 at Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac with full military honors being rendered by the U S Navy.
