Robert E. Moore

Robert Eugene Moore was born February 15, 1934 in Dowagiac, MI to Robert and Jane Moore and passed into the Lord's hands on July 11, 2010 after a 3 year, courageous battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Richard. He is survived by his loving wife Dolores of Green Valley, AZ, his younger brother Ron (Connie) Moore of Plano, TX, his precious children Robert (Pam) Moore of Niles, Cherie (Jim) Bradford of Dowagiac, Susan (Scott) Johnson of Charlotte, NC, Karen Barbour of Benton Harbor and Mindy Ortiz of Muskegon, MI; his step children Lynne Rice of Riverside, CA, Carolyn Pope of Tucson, AZ, Michael Cain of Green Valley, AZ and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as step grandchildren. He also leaves behind his beloved cousins who were his friends, Sandra Jane, Linda, Brent, Greg, Phyliss, Patty, George, Jr., Gary, John, Sharon, Cindy, Suzanne, Aunt Dorothy Fernham and long-time friends Leo (Karen) Carmody and neighbor, Richard (Ann) Flora. He served 3 years in the Air Force and worked over 30 years for the Post Office in Dowagiac and Niles. He was a sweet and lovable man, devoted to his family and he will be sorely missed by all of us who loved him. A memorial service led by Pastor John Kasper for Robert will be held on Saturday July 24th at 10 a.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Keeler Cemetery.
