Glen D Rank

Glen's life began on October 6, 1922 in Glendora, MI, the son of Charles and Lola (Blanchard) Rank. He was united in marriage to Mabel (Huff) Rank on May 29, 1942 in South Bend. Mr. Rank was a self employed mechanic and trucking company owner. He enjoyed hunting for mushrooms, going smelt dipping and taking care of people's lawns. His family includes his children David (Beverly) Rank of Dowagiac, Steven (Nancy) Rank of White Pigeon and daughter in law Sharon Rank of Dowagiac, seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, his sisters Frances Mielke and Deanna Adams. Glen passed away on Wednesday June 9, 2010 at Heartland Healthcare Center in Three Rivers. He is preceded in death by his wife Mabel, a son Jerry Rank, sister Dorothy Stamp, and brothers Clyde, Charles, Clinton and Raymond Rank. His family will gather with friends on Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel where his funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. led by Pastor Doug Cuthbert of the Sister Lakes Community Church. He will be laid to rest in Mission Hills Cemetery, Niles. Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the Cass County Council on Aging- Meal on Wheels program.
