Mary Ann Aulinskis

Mary Ann's life began on December 20, 1938 in South Bend, the daughter of John and Mabel (Blad) VanRassen. She was united in marriage to Joel Aulinskis on August 18, 1990 in Dowagiac. She was a member of the Dowagiac Moose Lodge, where she tended the bar for several years and enjoyed going to the casino boat. Mary Ann is survived by her husband Joel Aulinskis of Dowagiac, her son John Piechocki of Kalamazoo, step son Will Johnson II of North Dakota, three grandsons Robbie, Brandon and Alex Johnson and several nieces and nephews. Mary Ann passed away on Monday May 31, 2010 at Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac. She is preceded in death by a sister Patricia Moore, and three brothers Eddie, Freddie, and Frank VanRassen. Her family will receive friends on Thursday from 1-3 p.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel where her funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday led by Pastor Jon DenHouter.
